grab a heat proof mug and half fill with boiling water, don’t overfill as you’ll need a little room for the baking powder to fizz up if it’s any good |

add a teaspoon of baking powder and give it a tiny stir, if it bubbles nicely then it's good to use, if not ditch it as it's never going to help you achieve soft bubbly naans |
