1.5 tablespoons Vegetable Oil

10 (raw and deveined) King Prawns

1/2 large (approximately 150g) Brown/White Onion

1 tablespoon Tomato Paste

1 tablespoon Lemon Juice

1 teaspoon Chilli Powder

1/2 teaspoon Coriander Powder

1/2 teaspoon Salt
-
1/4 teaspoon Turmeric Powder

2 Green Finger Chillies

1/4 cup Fresh/Chopped Coriander

100ml Water

1 (sliced for decoration) Green Finger Chilliesoptional
Directions
Sizzling prawns cooked in a fiery hot and spicy sauce with the addition of ground green chillies and spices

Put the onions, tomato purée (paste), lemon juice, chilli powder, coriander powder, salt, turmeric, whole green chillies, the fresh coriander and water and into a food processor. Blend for about 1 minute |

Heat the oil in a deep round-bottomed frying pan (Balti bowl) or a karahi. Lower the heat slightly and add the spice mixture. Fry the mixture for 3-5 minutes or until the sauce has thickened slightly |

Add the prawns and stir-fry over a medium high heat |

As soon as the prawns are heated through, transfer them to a serving dish and garnish with the rest of the fresh coriander and the chopped green chilli, if using. Serve immediately |
