Ingredients

Adjust Servings:
750ml Yoghurt (Plain)
2 tbsp Tomato (Paste)
3 tbsp Tandoori Paste (Pataks)
3 tbsp Tikka Paste (Pataks)
3 tbsp Kashmiri Paste (Pataks)
1.5 tsp Ginger (Grated) or paste
1.5 tsp Garlic (Paste) or grated
1 tbsp Mix Powder / Curry Powder
1 tbsp Fenugreek Leaves (Kasoori Methi)
1.5 tsp Garam Masala (Powder)
1.5 tsp Tandoori Masala Powder
1.5 tsp Mint Sauce
1 Lemon juice only
1/2 tsp Colouring (Red)

This Tikka Masala paste is a great time saver when making curries like Tikka Masala or marinating meat such as Chicken Tikka or Lamb Tikka.

I prefer to use beetroot powder or paprika (not smoked) instead of bright red food coloring powder (which is used in this image) as it’s more natural but it wont give you that really bright red associated with Tikka

Mix all the ingredients together and then marinate the meat overnight before either grilling or cooking in the oven. Cool then slice into chunks to add to a meal.

Alternatively freeze in 4 tbsp amounts to use in meals like Tikka Masala.

Hi, I've just made this and frozen it in ice cube trays so I can pop as many out as I need.
