Ingredients

Adjust Servings:
1 medium chopped very fine Brown/White Onion
4 tablespoons Tomato Ketchup
1 tablespoon (White) Vinegar
1 tablespoon Sugar
1 tablespoon Water
1 teaspoon Mint Sauce
1/2 teaspoon Chilli Powder
1/4 teaspoon Red Food Colouring Powder

This sweet and sour pakora dip is the perfect accompaniment for pakoras, poppadoms and anything else you fancy trying

This sweet and sour pakora dip is the perfect accompaniment for pakoras, poppadoms and anything else you fancy trying.

For the deep red colour I use either of these powders:

Mix all the ingredients apart from the onion together and stir well.

Chop the onion up very finely and add as much as you need to the sauce

Allow to marinate for a few hours (making a day in advance is best) then stir to ensure all the sugar has dissolved and enjoy
