Ingredients

Adjust Servings:
125g Lentils (Split Red)
750ml Water
3 tbsp Oil (Vegetable)
1.5 tsp Garlic (Paste)
1 tsp Ginger (Grated)
1/2 tsp Salt
1 tsp Sugar
1 tsp Mix Powder / Curry Powder

Lentils are high in protein and fiber and low in fat, which makes them a healthy substitute for meat.

Dhal is added to curry dishes such as Dhansak and any dish you like in place of meat. This time saving method ensures you’ll always have some on hand.

Add everything into a pan and boil until the lentils turn to mush (about 30 minutes).

Blend then store in 5 tbsp (100ml portions) or place in ice cube trays and just pop out as many as you need for your meal
